...of what you see is what you get?

"But the LORD said to Samuel, 'Do not look at his appearance or at the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for God sees not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart." 1 Samuel 16:7 NASB

  1. Lord, teach us to see others the way You see them, not the outward appearance, but the heart. Teach us to love the unlovely, to love the sinner and hate the sin, to pray for those who despise us. Love them through us. Amen

  2. If only I could get my class of high school girls on Sunday nights to grasp the fact that God isn't interested in their outward appearance but on their inward and the fact that they should be more concerned with their inward as well..........still lifting that up in prayer..
Thanks for stopping by the Well yesterday and leaving your comment on my post.
I'd love for you to visit my personal blog as I've posted other things on being a submissive wife and a Biblical mom there as well. It wasn't quite the direction I'd hoped to take my blog, but I gave it to the Father when I began it and this is what He's decided so I'm going to be obedient to His calling.
    Hope to see you there:
