...of no honor in my hometown

Dearest "You,"

I feel used, but not recyclable, just continuously used. Only usable for your convenience. Lock me away until "needed" again w/o consideration of those who really need me. Oh yeah, that's right, they have & see me everyday, you don't!

You want me to solve all your problems, but not really-I'm just supposed to listen, telling you what you want to hear. Do you even know how my last situation turned out? No, "You," you don't. Why? Because you don't ask me about me.

Unimportant, I am, - my life - my goals - my interests - my concerns, to you. Do you know me?

"You," do you even read this blog? What about the other published things I have? I know, "You," you are busy with school and work, that's right. My bad, I'm sorry. I do have more time than you. "You," you are right, I don't work or go to school. I just stay at home, waiting for you to call/text me...when you're not busy.

Longing...,
Pookie

"Jesus said to them, "Only in his hometown, among his relatives and his own house is a prophet without honor." Mark 6:4 NIV

  2. Dear Lord, I pray for Larie. Help her to get her eyes back on You, Lord, and to stop thinking about the "waves" around her. Let her see Your hand holding her up and let "walk on the water" with You. Give her Your strength and peace. In Jesus' Name, Amen

    Here's a poem/song I wrote: "Walkin' On the Water"

  3. Have you ever thought about this (blogtown) can be your new hometown? We honor you here. Yes we are busy and such, but as a SAHM I look forward to coming to blogtown. It's amazing and an honor to have women read and follow my blog. I found a great group of ladies here that have become like family. With most of them, we have the same blood (His blood) running through our veins that makes us kindred.
You're life, you're interests and you goals are important to the people who follow your blog.

Just like you said Pookie, we're cousins :)
