There once was a time when I’d seek shelter while it rained; even if it were just a drizzle. I didn’t want to get wet or be cold. Sometimes I dodged the rain because I didn’t want to get my hair wet. Recently, I’ve not made a big fuss over such things. As the clouds over our roof darkened, the sunlight faded and cast a gray shadow across the sky, and breeze became misty, I knew a storm was brewing. I didn’t know how “bad” it would be or how long it would last, but I didn’t really care to know; I just trusted I would know what to do while in it. I embraced the storm and danced in the rain…literally & figuratively.
