...of submission

After our lunch:

07 January 07
It is her. Thank You LORD for opening my eyes although I had them glued shut! I was in awe when You revealed her to me. Continue to guide this relationship LORD, make it what You need it to be & use it for Your glory. May we both & others be blessed by it. Thank You my Encourager! The things she shared w/me, LORD I know only You had something to do w/us getting together. She is the one You’ve sent to use to help me, thank You!

Later in the day, I babysat for another Sister who I was pretty close with. However, I hadn’t shared the Physicians Anti-Depressant suggestion with her. She felt as if something was “up” with me so she asked, “What’s going on with you?” I told her about the decision I had to make and why I didn’t want to take the medication. Without a second thought, she said, “Larie. Stop being a baby and just take the meds. It’s not that big-a-deal!” She had taken two different types of Anti-depressants at separate times but had been done with them for 18 months. Again, that moment deserved the white light and those angelic voices. After all that running from God’s command, I submitted…

“But Jonah ran away from the LORD and headed for Tarshish…Jonah obeyed the word of the LORD and went to Nineveh.” Jonah 1-3 NIV
